Lemonade Stand is a free assessment run by Player Piano AI, in Toronto. The company responsible for your data is Ayres Capital Enterprises LTD. Questions about your data go to hello@lemonade-stand.app.

What we collect

• Your answers to the assessment's twenty-one questions, including your business name, region and anything you type in your own words. If you use the calculator on the homepage, those answers are saved and carried into the assessment.
• Your email address, so we can send you the report.
• Your website address, if you give one. We then read the public pages of that site.
• A cookie holding a random code, so your answers are still there if you come back. It lasts thirty days.

There is no account and no password, and we do not ask for payment details.

How we use it, and who handles it

• Your report.Our own code works out the hours and dollars. Anthropic's Claude model writes the written parts from your answers, and summarises your website if you gave one.
• Storage. Your answers, your report and the text the AI wrote are kept in Supabase. The site runs on Railway.
• Email. Your report is sent through Amazon SES.
• Player Piano AI.When you give your email, it and the basics of your business (name, industry, region, team size, how long you have been running, and roughly how many enquiries you get) are recorded as an enquiry in Maestro, Player Piano AI's own customer system. When your report is ready, your answers, the report and the text the AI wrote are added to that record, with a short internal note the AI writes for us. This happens whatever the report says. Someone at Player Piano AI may read them, and reads them before any call you choose to book.

Your answers stay with us. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone for their own marketing. The services named above handle your answers only to run the assessment for us. Some of them, including Anthropic and Amazon, process information in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, such as to comply with a court order, and where it is reasonably needed to protect our legal rights.

Asking for the assessment gives us implied consent under Canada's anti-spam law to reply to your enquiry. We record that consent, and it expires. It does not put you on a mailing list, and you get no marketing from us unless you opt in separately.

Page and button counts

We count page views and four actions: working out a cost on the homepage, starting the assessment, finishing it, and pressing the button to book a call. When you finish, the count records which of the three endings your report has, and nothing else about it.

The counter is Umami, running on Ayres Capital's own server at stats.ayrescapital.ca. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. It notes the page, the site that sent you, your browser, your type of device and your country, which it works out from your IP address before discarding it. Your answers, your email and your report are never sent to it. The counts are for our own use and are not shared outside Player Piano AI.

Counts across all assessments

Once a week we count what completed assessments have in common, such as industries, the tools people run and where the time goes, to decide what Player Piano AI should build. Claude helps write a summary of those counts. The counts and the summary are for our own use and are not shared outside Player Piano AI.

Your report is a public link

Your report has its own address, ending in a fourteen character code. The code is hard to guess, but the page has no login, so anyone with the link can open it. Share it only where you would share the report itself.

Your report uses only your own answers

The report never compares your business with other businesses. There is no score, no grade and no percentile. Every number in it comes from what you entered.

How long we keep it, and how to remove it

We keep your assessment until you ask us to delete it. Email hello@lemonade-stand.app and we will remove your answers and take down the report link. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
